Biography

Jorge Lima has a degree in Medicine from the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Lisbon (1995) and a PhD in Medicine from NOVA Medical School (2016). He is currently an Invited Assistant Professor at NMS (Curricular Units: Gynecology and Obstetrics – Professional Internship, Immunology, Medicine 4.0) and a Researcher at he Allergy, Immunodeficiency and Translational Immunology group at CEDOC (research areas: Maternal-Fetal Medicine, Reproductive Immunology, Recurrent Pregnancy Loss, Endometriosis). He is also a specialist in Gynecology and Obstetrics since 2004 and is currently the Coordinator of the Obstetrical High Risk Unit of Luz Hospital in Lisbon. He participated in several epidemiological studies in the area of Gynecology, Maternal-Fetal Medicine, Thrombosis and Reproductive Immunology. He is the author and co-author of several scientific publications in indexed international journals.
